Over time the college expanded its curriculum to include business administration and computer science programs as well as a variety of specialized courses such as American Studies and International Relations. In addition to providing traditional academic instruction, ACS also sought to foster a spirit of international cooperation by hosting conferences on topics related to European integration and economic development in Bulgaria.

In the 1990s ACS began offering degree programs leading to Master’s degrees in Business Administration (MBA) and International Relations (MAIR). In 1998 the college launched its first doctoral program in Business Administration (DBA). Since then ACS has added several more graduate degree programs including an Executive MBA program for working professionals.
